Orchestra
The State Chamber Orchestra was a state institution until 1990. Then it was taken over by the Toruń Muncipal Authorities and on 22 October 1992 it assumed the name of the Toruń Chamber Orchestra. On 9 February 2006 our great dream came true. That day The Toruń Council set up the Toruń Symphony Orchestra.
In the artistic season 2008/2009 the Torun Symphony orchestra celebrated a great feast – The Orchestra’s 30th anniversary.
From the very start until present the Orchestra has been doing its best to satisfy your need for music – to respond to the needs of music lovers and to “infect” with the love of classical music those, who only start to learn about it.
