Our guests are invited to visit the exhibition organized during the festival TORMIAR by the Centre of the Contemporary Art. The exhibition is free of charge (Free tickets can be collected at the box office in the Artus Court - The number of tickets is limited).

Guest soloist worldwide on the Alphorn, the Italian musician Carlo Torlontano dedicated most of his time promoting the Alphorn and its traditions as well as repertoire, introducing in the Concert-Hall this instrument mainly known for its use in sending signals throughout the Alpine valley.

Carlo Torlontano had been invitated to play in some of the world most prestigious Concert-Hall and International Festival, like Mozartuem Salzburg, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Philharmonie Berlin, Mainly Mozart Festival (USA), Brisbane Music Festival, Salle de Concert Pollak de Montréal, Proms Prague Festival, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Warsaw Philharmonic, Tokyo Muza Symphony Hall, Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival, Auditorium Lisinski Zagreb, Cankarjev Dom Ljubljana, Gran Teatro de Cordoba, Belgrade Philharmonic, Praha Smetana Hall, Internationaal Kamermuziekfestival Den Haag, Festival Internacional de Santander, Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse, California Center for the Arts, Casa da Música do Porto, Beethovenhalle Bonn, Newport Music Festival (USA), etc.
Carlo Torlontano has been also for many years the Principal and Solo Horn player with RAI-Italian Radio Television Symphony Orchestra and Teatro di San Carlo in Napoli. He also has collaborated with many of the most prestigious conductors among them: Abbado, Accardo, Ahronovitch, Berio, Bonynge, Gatti, Gavazzeni, Harding, Koopman, Kuhn, Maag, Maazel, Oren and Semkow.
Carlo Torlontano is currently Horn Professor at the Conservatory of Music “A. Casella” in L’Aquila, Italy.
