The Classical Music Maniacs – the Bach Goes Samba project
Jarolím Emmanuel Ružička - the leader

The Classical Music Maniacs is a group composed of a number of soloists from the greatest symphony orchestras of Slovakia. The charismatic originator of the group, the concertmaster of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra Jarolím Emmanuel Ružička, has made it garner great fame and renown. The artists aim to appeal to the broad public and demonstrate with their interpretations that classical music does not have to appear as that serious.
The project Bach Goes Samba has been developed by Jarolím Emmanuel Ružička who intends to mix the music of Jan Sebastian Bach, the greatest of all Baroque composers, with electrifying Latino-American rhythms. Apart from traditional instruments, the setup includes electric and bass guitars and percussion. The programme will not be limited to Bach's works as it will also present interpretations of music by Astor Piazzolla, Benjamin Britten, and a mysteriously titled piece "Queen BaROCK".
