Dire Straits Symfonicznie is a project which combines two seemingly divergent worlds – the world of rock music and symphony – in order to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding audience with the richness of the sound. The “Dire Straits Symfonicznie” project was brought to life thanks to the hard work and involvement of its originators. Krzysztof Herdzin – author of exceptional arrangements for orchestra, Kuba Badach – a vocalist with an outstanding voice, and Marek Napiórkowski – a guitar virtuoso.
“Money for Nothing”, “Sultans of Swing”, “Walk of life”, “Brothers in Arms”, “Your latest trick”, “Private Investigations” are only some of the well-known super hits which can be heard during their concerts. Now they gain a new dimension thanks to the arrangement by Krzysztof Herdzin.

However, the project would be nothing without a symphony orchestra, which produces the vibrant and exceptional tone, or without its leaders: Krzysztof Herdzin, conductor and arranger, Kuba Badach, vocalist and Marek Napiórkowski, guitarist. The project is complemented by leading musicians of the Polish jazz scene – Robert Kubiszyn, bass guitar, Tomasz Kałwak – piano and Paweł Dobrowolski – drums.
