Spanish Evening

Concert with wine tasting and audio-visual presentation of the tradition, folklore and famous Running of the Bulls, during the celebrations of San Fermin in Navarre.

Quatuor Europe was founded in 2000 on the initiative of four outstanding musicians, soloists of the most important European orchestras who share a common passion for chamber music. They act as concertmasters and soloist in famous orchestras such as the Belgian RTV Orquestre, Orquestra de Camara del Palau de la Música Catalana, Philharmonia Orchestra of Yale, New Music New Heaven, Bucharest Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquestra de Euskadi in San Sebastian, Orquesta Sinfonica de Navarra, Grupo Enigma (chamber orchestra) in Zaragoza.

Each of them represents a different country of origin, but now they share the same place of living in the northern provinces of Spain (Navarra, La Roja y Gipuzcoa) Members of Quatuor Europe participated in many chamber music competitions, winning prizes and awards: the International Quartet Competition in Colmar, Chamber Music in Belgrade, Concurs Germans Claret, Concurs de Cambra Sofia Puche in Spain and as soloists: Competition of  H. Wieniawski in Lublin, International Competition Nicanor Zabaleta in San Sebastian. They took part in many chamber music festivals: Festival de Perigord Noir, Festival de Musica Visual en Lanazarote, Festival Musikaste in Renteria - San Sebastian, Quincena Musical de Donosti, Caper Lubliniensis, Music and Architecture in Torun, Festival of Chamber Music in Warsaw. Along with various ensembles and as soloists they made many recordings for such major labels as: Harmonia Mundi, Naxos, Cristal Records, Nimbus, Discoby, Elkar. They have performed on the stages of major concert halls of Europe, Asia and America. In addition, all musicians are also educators. They collaborate with the most important centres of musical education in Spain and Belgium, and lead summer master classes for gifted youth. Since 2009 they regularly travel to Poland to perform songs of the leading Spanish and European composers. Quatuor Europe collaborates with soloists such as Peter Verhoyen, Thomas Indelmuhle, Maciej Pikulski, Eva Fontalba, Frank Coryn, Lukasz Krupiński and Vadim Tsibulevsky.
