Gospel

American singer Donna Brown and her band The Golden Gospel Pearls will give concerts in Poland in August. Also, Torun is included in their artistic plans.

Donna Brown has years of musical experience - as school student she was working as a choir conductor. She received a scholarship from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, where she continued conducting, and learned to play the piano, organ and singing. She obtained a master's degree in conducting at the famous Julliard School of Music in New York.

One of the band members -  Lee Brown said, "I have not learned how to sing gospel, I'm just gospel - is the meaning of my existence. It is the music and the voice of the people of Africa, who for years had been slaves on the American continent, and then God freed them. Gospel music without Jesus is like a car without wheels.
