We invite you to a unique concert dedicated to the icons of the female music scene in Poland.
“Damy Polskiej Piosenki” (“Ladies of Polish Song”) is a tribute to the unforgettable voices, charisma and creativity of female artists who have been shaping the musical sensitivity of several generations of listeners for years.
The group performing in the concert “Ladies of Polish Song” is an intimate composition with a rich, diverse sound, combining classical and modern.
Jan Gembala - the musical director of the project - creates a colorful palette of sounds, playing keyboard instruments: acoustic piano, organ, synthesizers and electric piano.
The bass guitar, Moog and double bass are played by multi-instrumentalist Michał Rybka, responsible for the harmonic foundation and groove of each arrangement.
The rhythm section is complemented by percussionist Michał Szubert, bringing a dynamic pulse and subtle percussion accents that enhance the emotional narrative of the concert
The whole is tied together by Joanna Kaczmarkiewicz - a vocalist with a charismatic voice, who sensitively interprets the songs of the great ladies of Polish song.
