The Toruń Symphony Orchestra warmly invites you to the 29th International Nova Music and Architecture Festival

The International Nova Music and Architecture Festival stands as a vibrant and integral part of the summer cultural calendar in Toruń and the surrounding region. This year marks the 29th edition of the event, once again organized by the Toruń Symphony Orchestra.

Continuing its rich tradition, the festival offers a captivating blend of classical, film, and pop music, all set against the stunning backdrop of Toruń’s historic and modern architectural landmarks. Concerts will be held at various venues throughout the city, including the Old Town Hall, St Stephen’s Church, the Artus Court, and the Baj Pomorski Theatre.

“The programme for the 29th International Nova Music and Architecture Festival promises to amaze audiences once again with its richness and diversity. We warmly invite you to join us for the concerts. Many of the festival’s events will be free of charge, making them accessible to a wide audience—including both Toruń residents and visitors eager to explore our city”, says Sara Watrak, spokesperson for the Toruń Symphony Orchestra.

The 29th edition of the festival will commence on 1 July, which is International Architecture Day, with a special walk along the “Musical Trail of Toruń”, followed by an atmospheric organ recital. The festival will conclude on 31 August with a lively concert featuring the greatest Polish hits. The official inauguration of the festival will take place on 5 July at 9:00 PM in the amphitheatre of the Ethnographic Museum, with the Toruń Symphony Orchestra’s evocative evening performance: “Music of the Night. Recital at Dusk”.

This summer in Toruń, we are proud to host a range of exceptional artists, including world-renowned pianist Adam Kośmieja, and distinguished laureates and finalists of the 6th International Karol Lipiński Violin Competition: Sunjae Ok (South Korea), Carla Marrero Martinez (Spain) and Wonbeen Chung (South Korea). Audiences will also be treated to a performance by dancers from Indonesia. The festival’s diverse programme spans symphonic, chamber, opera, and pop music, offering something for every musical taste. A standout highlight will be Wojciech Waleczek’s European Piano Recital, featuring 25 pieces from 27 European Union countries—an extraordinary musical journey across the continent.

It will be a summer brimming with music! Tickets are available at www.biletytos.pl
