Its name originates from the way this piece is performed on the lowest string of the violin, adding to its distinctive character. We will once again be captivated by Mozart’s timeless masterpiece, Eine Kleine Nacht Musik or A Little Night Music. This serenade will unlock the gateway to the enigmatic genius of the composer, enchanting listeners with its allure. Next, we will be mesmerized by Pachelbel’s Baroque masterpiece, the Canon in D Major. Known for its characteristic gradually increasing tension achieved through the use of progressively finer rhythmic values, this composition is a true gem of the era. Prepare to be captivated by The Swan, the most uniquely captivating composition from Sainte-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals. Transporting us to the realm of Scandinavian legends and fairy tales is the Norwegian Peer Gynt. Its repertoire will feature the serene and tranquil Morning as well as the thrilling and suspenseful In the Hall of the Mountain King. We will also be treated to the famous Minuet by Boccherini, a revered composer known as a pioneer in the development of the string quartet.
