In this concert, we will pay homage to renowned film music composers whose works have forever transformed the landscape of cinema. With compositions by the legendary John Williams and Henry Mancini, both distinguished figures in the modern film industry, the evening promises to be a celebration of exceptional artistry. The repertoire will feature iconic songs from blockbuster films and beloved musicals, including the unforgettable Le Jazz Hot! from Victor, Victoria, as well as timeless themes from Mission: Impossible, Ben Hur, Pirates of the Caribbean and World of Warcraft. Taking centre stage, the undoubted star of the evening will be Katarzyna Dondalska, a Polish coloratura soprano hailed as ‘the Eighth Wonder of the World’ by the esteemed opera singer Barbara Bonney herself. With the perfect fusion of blockbuster music and the immense talent of the musicians, this upcoming evening promises to be a glamorous spectacle.
